Anpario has the incredible opportunity of sponsoring three pigeons trained by decorated racer Alan Brown, two of which are the offspring of his pedigree race winning pigeon ‘Bullet’, in September’s Sydney Gold Ring Race 2020. The birds will be raised on a winning formula of good training and Orego-Stim® Pigeon.
As official sponsors, we have been tasked with finding names for these three beautiful birds. With all that is going on in the world, we thought it would be a great opportunity to launch a set of competitions to find the perfect name for each of our future champions.
Dubbed ‘Sydney’s Richest Race’ in the Pigeon arena, the Sydney Gold Ring Race is to be held from Booligal NSW. Approximately 565 kilometres to Sydney in a westerly direction. The basic format of the race is simple:
The trainer of our three pigeons is Alan Brown, who belongs to Mt. Druitt Club. An experienced trainer and keeper, he has been racing for over 38 years. At present he has around 200 pigeons and has been using Orego-Stim Pigeon for 5 years to support good gut health and maintain optimal performance of his birds.
Bullet has been raised and trained with the help of Orego-Stim Pigeon, Anpario’s Oregano Essential Oil (OEO) based additive, which helps towards post-race recovery and supports natural immunity.
Anpario are proud sponsors of 2 squabs from a successful breeding line in their father ‘Bullet’. The problem is…they are yet to be named (that’s where you come in!). Our birds were hatched in good health and are developing into beautiful racers which will hopefully replicate the success of their father.
